Alaska truly is the “Last Frontier.” It is a nature lover’s paradise with millions of acres of undeveloped wilderness. Alaska’s untamed beauty radiates with colorful skies over pristine lakes, monumental mountains and wildlife. It would take years to experience it all because of its vast size and rugged landscape. However, my collection allows you to visualize some of its dazzling beauty including the captivating mountains in Denali National Park, Hubbard Glacier, St. Elias Mountains, and seals relaxing on a buoy.
Antelope Canyon is one of the most colorful slot canyons found in the southwest. The sandstone walls were carved by Mother Nature over thousands of years and consist of unusual shapes and a kaleidoscope of colors. These tall formations have an almost supernatural appearance, as you can see in this collection. Antelope Canyon is located near the Utah border in Page, Arizona within the Navajo Nation.
In southwest Utah, Bruce Canyon is famous for colorful hoodoos and other formations that provide breathtaking views. Especially notable is the Queen’s Garden trail, where visitors can see several 200 foot red and white formations up close. It actually feels like being transported to another planet. These formations make stunning images when photographed against the deep blue sky. This collection includes these captivating hoodoos, natural bridges, and other geologic wonders.
While Capitol Reef is one of the smaller national parks, it makes up for this with spectacular desert landscapes. Located in south central Utah near the town of Torrey, Capitol Reef has multicolored jagged cliffs, natural bridges, domes and the famous Waterpocket Fold, some of which can be found in this collection.
The Everglades, located in southern Florida, is a semitropical paradise with a diverse ecosystem. There is plenty of opportunity for viewing and photographing exotic birds and wildlife in their natural habitat under a backdrop of large tropical trees and marshes. Visitors can veer off the beaten path to more remote places and feel totally surrounded by nature. This collection includes the iconic alligator as well as several reflections that show an unusual honeycomb effect.
