THE CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK COLLECTION

Capitol Reef National Park is a hidden gem in south central Utah. The park is small in total area, but has spectacular formations such as rocky cliffs, domes, bridges and the unique Waterpocket Fold. It is also known for great night time views in the sky because the area is more isolated and has little ambient light. Since Capitol Reef has fewer visitors than other parks, it is definitely a more relaxed experience. Some of the best images are off the beaten path so photographers should be prepared to climb narrow rocky trails that can descend into deep valleys.
